"denim outer kimono"

Haorimon

A length kimono that is easy to put on and take off, created by two generations of Mr. Shitateya.

Outer kimono made from denim. Enter, stop, close, 3 steps.
stylish! A perfect fit that won't fall off. No strings, no hassle, no rules.

Just a little bit,
While traveling,
As everyday wear,
The kimono becomes a coat-like haori.

Easy to put on and take off in 3 steps!

1. Put on your denim outer kimono.

2. Fasten the snap on the left side.

3. Close the right open zipper.

Easy and simple for anyone. No complicated dressing required!
For both men and women, the hem of a long-length kimono (a kimono that does not have an opening) widens at the hem. By adjusting the way this is tailored, a clean silhouette has been achieved.

In particular, the length of the kimono is said to be difficult to wear for women's body types, but by paying special attention to the tuck in the back, the elastic and snaps that extend from there, and the length of the collar, we have three solutions! There are a lot of ideas from Mr. Tateya who is particular about his appearance!

Furthermore, in order to prevent the clothes from falling apart around the stomach area, which is a common problem for both men and women, the small open zipper that was added from the top to the bottom prevents the front from slipping down and provides a snug fit.

After wearing it, you can wash it at home (after folding the sleeves, put it in a net for a fashionable wash)

Due to its length, you can hang it on a hanger and store it in your closet.

? What is sleeve tatami? Prevents it from losing its shape in the washing machine.

"Denim outer kimono" is 100% sewn in-house. Using an original sewing machine developed in-house, it is a kimono that Shitateya-san thought of as a kimono and something to wear.

An easy new Japanese style that has been seriously considered by two generations of Mr. Shitateya.

40 years ago, my grandmother, who was born in the Taisho era, said, ``If I wear a kimono to the hospital, I'll get in trouble...'' My mother, a Japanese seamstress, invented the ``poncho kimono,'' which is a kimono for everyday wear that doesn't get loose and doesn't fall apart. My grandmother would also be happy to wear it. However, at that time, just because it was tall and tall, it was treated as a colored item and was not accepted. Twenty years later, when we joined the company to support our mother, we started wearing ``poncho kimonos'' as combat uniforms for an unfamiliar industry. The two of them decided to carry on the idea of their mother, who founded a company with the aim of making women independent during the customary apprenticeship system, and have been working on the business with a dual core, but the amount of work has decreased year by year, and the company's As our survival was at stake, we thought about what it meant to ``manufacture products that we could bring directly to customers,'' and by adding the skills of my older sister who learned kimono dressing and my younger sister who learned dressmaking, we brushed up our skills and created stylish products. We have created a denim outer kimono that will not fall off and enjoy a comfortable fit.
