Lapoge's original tailoring
The secret of "Himiko tailoring"

The key to Himiko tailoring is the in-house developed "Markless Cima"is.
Where you would normally mark each piece with a trowel, the seams are sewn without markings (less).

The secret is a computer sewing machine that has been programmed to replace the shakukanho. Just by inputting the dimensions of each customer, the caterpillar can accurately sew a long distance without causing misalignment.

The finished seams will not cause any tangles and will be finished without any deviation in pitch. Himiko tailoring is systemized around this process.

Sasutena Obi

I made a square obi for men by combining antique obi fabric with a different weave based on pongee fabric.

Plain color × Edo silk

Based on plain color, I combined it with Edo-style kimono. Since the fabric of the Edo sleeves is a little weaker, I used an appliqué instead of a patchwork and attached a flower-like pattern to the back. I made it by matching the kimono of my grandmother and mother.

Sharp

With a combination of one-piece replacement style, the pattern is diagonally accented, and the sharp # image has become a sharp piece. By matching the two kimonos in terms of design, I finished a kimono of my size with plenty of length.

bypass

Combining a large haori with a plain color in a vertical pattern, the large floral pattern is calmed down with a slight green color, making it a unique piece.

Contrast

Combining black mourning clothes and picture haori, it became an interesting kimono with contrasting texture of the fabric even though it is the same color.

rag

The large chrysanthemum-patterned Komon is the main accent, and the smoked blue solid color and the ink black and vermilion Shark Komon are accented to create a gorgeous furisode.
